Vogue Italia impresses again with a dark and gothic inspired cover for its September 2011 issue. British model Stella Tennant poses with a shockingly tiny corset dressed waist, a nose ring and a pair of scissors in her hand. The cover is lensed by Steven Meisel in a cemetery backdrop, styled by Karl Temper who dresses up Stella in the designs of Prada, Fenton and Deborah Milner. The idea of the corset adorned waist was inspired by Ethel Granger, who is recorded as having the smallest waist in the world: 33 centimeters. I hope this cover is photo-shopped because the waist is giving me nausea. See the complete editorial here.
