Urban Decay is known for its high end and fabulous makeup products. Their most sought after products include the Naked Palette, Naked 2, and Primer Potion. Their eye products have an awesome pigmentation, while the lip products are smooth and gorgeous. I personally love the Big Fatty Mascara, and didn't think twice about purchasing the 50th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette. Their Fall 2012 collection includes a first, a Naked Skin Foundation which promises a weightless coverage that is buildable, has anti-wrinkle properties, and holds water for a smooth glow. The foundation comes in a long, narrow bottle with a pump head, and has 18 different shades. I personally think that pump heads are hygienic, and you don't have to go through the hassle of taking it out with an applicator or digging your fingers in the bottle. The foundation also includes Japanese Green Tea and Vitamin E extracts and certainly sounds promising. Instead of fancy names, the foundation has a numbering system according to shades. The ones with a .5 are more on the lighter tones, while the ones with .0 have a warmer shade meant for darker skin tones. The foundation is meant to be used with a brush, and for that Urban Decay has also launched a Synthetic Optical Blurring Brush with is made from recycled PET bottles and recycled aluminium. The UD Naked Skin Foundation and Synthetic Optical Blurring Brush will be available at select Macy's, Sephora, Ulta, and Urban Decay counters and online with a price tag of $38 and $24 respectively. Thanks to Vampy Varnish for the pictures and swatches!
