L'oreal Paris has launched its latest product, the Revitalift Antiwrinkle + Firming Day Cream. It is from the line of the Revitalift Anti-Aging products which include a smoothing toner, face and neck contour, make-up removing milk, cleansing wipes, moisturizer, pro-contouring system, eye-cream and the day-cream.

I was sent the L'Oreal Revitalift Antiwrinkle + Firming Day Cream to review, and I sure was impressed.

"What It Works On"
With age, our skin’s 8 natural lifters are altered. They can undergo quantitative and qualitative modifications that lead to tissue disorganization and a loss of biomechanical properties (elasticity, tone). Consequently, surface wrinkles become more noticeable and the skin loses firmness. L’Oréal believes that youthful beauty is found by stimulating one’s mind, body and curiosity and is not confined to women of a specific age. With this in mind, the team at L’Oréal Paris worked assiduously to develop a high end product catering to women and their anti-aging skin care needs. The New Revitalift formula works to take action on three major functions — re-tightening, re-pulping and stabilizing — key to stimulating the skin’s “self-lifting” capacity.

"Who Should Use It And Why"
With age, facial tissues weaken, skin loses its firmness and wrinkles deepen. From age 40, skin feels less firm and wrinkles become more obvious. To help reduce the signs of ageing, the L'Oréal laboratories have created Revitalift Day Cream. To prevent the early signs of aging, a good anti-wrinkle cream should be used from age 28.

L'Oreal Revitalift Antiwrinkle + Firming Day Cream is enriched with Pro-Retinol A, an advanced and innovative form of vitamin A, and Elastin, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles and makes skin feel tangibly firmer and healthier.

"How to use"
L'Oreal Revitalift Antiwrinkle + Firming Day Cream should be used every morning on thoroughly cleansed skin. It should be noted that contact with the eyes must be avoided.

"My Review"
The L'Oreal Revitalift Antiwrinkle + Firming Day Cream is a soft, supple formula which tends to improve the skin's texture after the very fist use. The cream comes in a dainty white jar and is non-sticky and non-greasy. The best thing I liked about it is the texture: it isn't runny nor too stodgy as most creams are. It has a soft, barley-there, clean-feeling smell, which makes every application a looking forward to experience. I felt a slight tingling feel on the skin after the first use but my skin felt softer and had an instant glowing feel to it. I didn't feel the need to apply any foundation or base as the cream left my skin smooth and I applied makeup directly on top of it. Most of the day creams tend to be very waxy, but the L'Oreal Revitalift Antiwrinkle + Firming Day Cream is very light, and has an airy feel to it. It promises apt results after the first week of use, and a noticeable change in wrinkles after 4 weeks.
